Safety training for last-mile delivery drivers
Every driver trained, tested and certified.
Live Operations Driving & Safety Academy helps delivery companies prepare new hires and keep experienced drivers safe on the road. We combine interactive video lessons with in-vehicle assessments, final tests, and certificates of completion.
Our training covers onboarding, ongoing coaching, accident prevention, post-accident training, and annual refreshers. We focus on workplace safety for licensed, non-CDL delivery drivers.

Proof for your insurer
Trained drivers aren't rookies. Now you can prove it.
Insurers price risk, and every crash and claim counts against you. Drivers who know how to keep their distance, back safely and read the road avoid accidents. Fewer accidents mean fewer claims, and a dated record shows your insurer that every driver was trained, tested and checked on the road.
Every driver completes lessons, passes tests and a ride-along in the van before running routes alone.
Training targets the most common delivery crashes: backing, following too close, intersections, blind spots and distraction.
Dated lessons, scores, ride-along results and certificates for every driver, ready to show at renewal or after a claim.
Claims room
Every claim organized, costed and measured against your premium.
Auto and Workers' Comp claims in one place. For each incident, decide whether to report it to your insurer or keep it as a minor internal incident.
Repairs, medical, days off the road, lost work days and staff time, added up. See what you pay and what the insurer would pay before you decide.
Premium paid this year next to what the insurer has paid and reserved in claims: your loss ratio, at a glance.
Paid and reserve figures come from your insurer's loss run. One click emails them to ask for it.
Example figures. The Academy does not guarantee any premium, rate, renewal or claim outcome. Only your insurer decides those.

Courses
Every course is included
From the first day on the job to the day after an incident. Assign courses in a click, and new hires get the right ones automatically.

For licensed drivers before their first route: a live fleet safety check in the company training van, led by a trainer.
Everything a new last-mile driver needs before the first route: inspections, backing, and safe delivery stops.
Stop-work authority, fit for duty, knowing your van, the station yard, loading and lifting.
Route planning, the complete delivery stop, different delivery places, animals and personal security, end of shift.
Assigned after telematics events like speeding, hard braking, phone use or rolling stops.
The phone and scanner are work tools. Use them when parked. While driving, the job is to drive.
Proactive training to prevent the most common last-mile collisions before they happen.
Five seeing-and-being-seen habits that prevent most last-mile collisions.
School buses, Move Over, railroad crossings, work zones, road surfaces, and what to do when the van breaks down.
Required after any collision or incident: what to do at the scene, reporting, and preventing a repeat.
Yearly reminder of the core safety rules plus this year's policy updates.
Seasonal reminders: heat illness, wet roads and winter conditions.
Awareness for liftgates, pallet jacks, electric vans, special cargo, heavy and inside-home deliveries, and trailers. Assign only where it applies.
What you get
Training your drivers finish. Proof you can show.
Interactive lessons
Video, pictures and narration that pause for questions. Drivers can't skip ahead.
Live in-van assessment (Ride Along)
A trainer or manager scores the driver over a video call along with the on site manager present from the passenger seat.
Final tests
Randomized questions with must-pass safety items. Retakes are tracked.
Certificates & Driver Passport
PDF certificates with a QR code anyone can verify, and they follow the driver.
Coaching & post-accident
Assign the right course after an incident or a telematics alert, with due dates.
Records on file
Every answer, score and certificate is timestamped and ready for audits.

Driver Defense File
When a claim comes in, the proof is already on file.
One click turns a driver's whole safety history into a dated PDF you can send to your insurer, your attorney or an auditor. No digging through emails, paper sign-in sheets or old spreadsheets.
Every lesson and test
Date and time of each video lesson, every checkpoint answer, final test scores and certificates.
Ride-alongs, signed
Live in-vehicle assessments with the assessor's name, pass/fail items, evidence photos and GPS check-in.
Huddles and coaching
Daily safety huddles, reminders and coaching messages, each with a timestamp.
Accidents and retraining
Every reported accident, its likely cause and the retraining that was assigned automatically.
Tamper-evident
Each file carries a digital fingerprint, so anyone can tell if it was changed after it was generated.
The Defense File documents the training and supervision you provided. It does not guarantee the outcome of any claim or lawsuit.

No. Sign up, pay for the drivers you'll train this month, and start inviting them right away. If you'd like to talk first, you can request a call at the bottom of this page.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Cancel from the Billing page in your portal with one click. There are no contracts or cancellation fees. Your access stays on until the last day you already paid for, and then it stops renewing.
How does billing work?+
You pay monthly for the number of driver seats you choose, with a minimum of 15 seats. Need more? Add seats anytime and you only pay for the days left in your month.
Who is this training for?+
Licensed, non-CDL delivery drivers. It's workplace safety training for your team, not a driving school or a license course.
What do drivers need?+
Just a phone and an email address. Lessons work in any browser, with no app to install.
Will this lower my insurance premium?+
We can't promise that, because only your insurer sets your rates and decides on renewals. What the Academy gives you is proof: dated training, test and ride-along records for every driver that you can share with your insurer or agent.
Do you offer discounts?+
If you have a promo code, enter it on the payment page.
Prefer to talk first?
Optional. Leave your details and we'll reach out, or ask about Enterprise pricing for 250+ drivers.
